Against the backdrop of the new round of curriculum reform,cultivating students’innovative spirit and practical ability has become the core goal of education.School-based curriculum,as an important component of China’s modern educational system,is facing new challenges.Under the current situation,it is particularly crucial to explore how to integrate project-based learning with interdisciplinary and large-unit teaching in school-based curriculum,and to show characteristics of the school while promoting personalized development of students.The article takes“Observing the Scenery of the Great River with the Middle School Chinese Textbook”as an example to deeply explore the development and application of the school-based curriculum of“Traveling with Books”,aiming to provide reference and guidance for the innovative development and teaching practice of school-based curriculum in middle school.
