The Hundred-Year History and Practical Path of Promoting the Chinese Modernization by Building the Chinese Nation Community

建党百年来,中国共产党围绕解决民族问题探索现代化建设,这一伟大实践历经了萌芽与形成、探索与曲折、恢复与发展、创新与完善四个一脉相承的发展阶段。中国共产党以解决民族问题推进现代化建设的实践历程证明:建设中华民族共同体和中国式现代化相辅相成、协同互促。新时代通过构建民族互嵌式发展格局、实现民族地区共同富裕以及防范民族地区意识形态危机,可以从奋斗主体、物质支撑以及思想保障三个方面推进中国式现代化。建设中华民族共同体为破除西方现代化危机提供了中国智慧和中国方案,是实现中国式现代化的关键环节以及内生动力来源。

Over the past 100 years since the founding of the Communist Party of China,the CPC has explored the modernization of China by solving the ethnic problems,and this great practice has gone through four stages of development:germination and formation,exploration and twists and turns,recovery and development,and innovation and perfection.The CPC’s practice of promoting modernization by resolving the ethnic issues has proved that the building of the Chinese Nation Community and Chinese modernization has always been complementary and mutually reinforcing.In the new era,Chinese modernization can be promoted in three aspects:the main body of struggle,material support and ideological guarantee,through building an interlocking pattern of development of ethnic groups,realizing common prosperity in ethnic areas and preventing ideological crises in ethnic areas.The building of a Chinese national community provides Chinese wisdom and Chinese solutions for overcoming the crisis of Western modernization,and is the key link and source of endogenous impetus for the realization of Chinese modernization.
