摘要
X波段天气雷达尺寸小、基建要求低、机动性强,在近距离探测中得到广泛应用。相较于常规S/C波段雷达,其面临着更加严重的距离/速度测量矛盾和杂波抑制问题,尤其在低空域探测时,点杂波抑制问题日益突出。文章面向X波段天气雷达应用需求,重点研究低空点杂波抑制问题。通过点杂波信号仿真,分析了其距离库的IQ信息在时域和频域的特征,在数字信号处理端设计了脉冲对处理、快速傅里叶变换相结合的方法进行点杂波抑制,并对该方法进行了实测验证,展示了良好的抑制效果。
The X-band weather radar is widely used in close range detection due to its small size,low infrastructure rcquirements,and strong mancuvcrability.Compared to normal S/C-band radar,it faces more serious distance/velocity measurement contradictions and clutter suppression problems,especially in low altitude detcction where point clutter suppression is becoming increasingly prominent.This article is based on the application requirements of X-band weather radar,focusing on the point clutter suppression of low altitude.The characteristics in both time domain and frequcncy domain of point clutter were analyzed by simulating its IQ information in the range gate.A point clutter suppression method which combining pulse pair processing and fast Fourier transform was designed in the digital signal processing,and the method has been validated in practical measurements and demonstrated good suppression effects.
