In the context of increasingly severe global climate change,governments around the world have taken carbon emission reduction as an important task to mitigate its threat to human society and the natural environment.As one of the major sources of car-bon emissions,reducing carbon emissions from the automotive sector is the key to achieving global carbon reduction targets.This pa-per analyzes the responsibilities and challenges of the automobile industry in carbon emission reduction,and puts forward some sug-gestions on the green innovation path of the automobile industry.
