地方高校图书馆开展社会服务的有效途径

On the Effective Ways to Develop Social Services from the Ordinary Local College Libraries

新形势下,高校图书馆深化服务内涵、拓展服务职能、积极开展社会服务,既是地方社会经济文化发展的需要,也是高校转型发展和图书馆自身发展的需要。因此,地方高校图书馆要立足地方、面向社会,以加强资源共享和提高资源利用率为导向,不断深化社会服务内涵、创新社会服务模式、提升社会服务水平。以整合现有资源为基础,地方高校图书馆应加强与当地中小学、社区、乡镇及其他职能部门合作,从最基本的文献资料服务入手,逐步拓展、延伸和提高,积极参与地方基础教育发展,推动社区文化和地方特色文化建设,为地方文化建设和社会经济发展做出应有贡献。

Under the new circumstance,the service connotation-deepening,the service function-expanding and social service-developing in the local college libraries are not only necessary for the development of local economy and social culture but also necessary for the transformation for the development of colleges and for their own development of libraries.Therefore,local college libraries should proceed from local conditions and keep society-oriented,further deepen the connotation of social service,innovate the mode of social service,and improve the level of social service with the aim to strengthen resource sharing,improve the utilization rate of resources.Based on integrating the existing resources,starting from the most basic literature services,local college libraries can collaborate with primary and secondary schools,communities,townships and other functional departments,actively participate in the development of local basic education and promote the construction of community culture and local characteristic culture,so as to make more contributions to the local cultural construction and social-economic development.
