摘要
该文基于评价理论对《曼谷邮报》近10年来有关成都市的话语呈现进行分析,研究成都城市形象在泰国社会的传播现状。通过对新闻主题、评价主体、评价对象和态度资源的定量和定性分析,发现《曼谷邮报》对成都的报道大体上呈现积极态度,特别是在旅游文化、经贸合作和体育赛事方面。同时,泰国媒体在新闻报道时主要直接表达自己的看法和态度,但也注重引入其他评价主体和声音来进行评价。最后探讨了成都在泰对外传播的优化策略,通过突出文化软实力建设、加强经济合作宣传、扩展与泰国媒体的沟通渠道,提升成都的国际美誉度和影响力,为新时代成都在泰及周边东盟国家的对外宣传提供参考。
Based on Appraisal Theory,this paper analyzes the discourse presentation of Chengdu in Bangkok Post over the past decades,examining the current state of the dissemination of Chengdu's city image in Thai society.Through quantitative and qualitative analysis of news themes,appraisal subjects,appraisal objects,and attitude resources,it is found that the Bangkok Post's coverage of Chengdu generally portrays a positive attitude towards Chengdu,particularly in the areas of tourism culture,economic and trade cooperation,and sports events.Thai media primarily express their own opinions and attitudes in news reporting but also introduce other evaluative subjects and voices for evaluation.Finally,this article explores optimization strategies for Chengdu's external communication in Thailand,including emphasizing cultural soft power construction,strengthening economic cooperation promotion,expanding communication channels with Thai media.It provides references for enhancing Chengdu's international reputation and influence in Thailand and neighboring ASEAN countries as well.
