Revisiting the New Journey of Medical Ethics

黑格尔和马克思早年关于世界历史事件和人物以悲剧和喜剧两次出现的论点,揭示了历史和人物发展中的一种常态现象,对医学伦理学再启程的认识和实践具有重要指导意义。当今医学伦理学的再启程,需要盯住7个现实性、基础性的目标;同时调整、聚合力量,力争把广大医护人员、医疗卫生行政人员和伦理人文学者三支力量的伦理大军动员起来,齐心合力,相互配合,克服以往仅是医学伦理学老师孤军作战的状态。齐心合力振兴医学伦理队伍的形成,一定能够改变我国医疗卫生队伍的精神面貌,促进我国医疗卫生事业的兴旺发达。

The early arguments by Hegel and Marx regarding the recurrence of world historical events and figures as both tragedy and comedy highlight a common phenomenon in the development of history and individuals,which has important guiding significance for the understanding and practice of medical ethics.The new journey of medical ethics today needs to focus on seven practical and foundational goals.At the same time,it requires the adjustment and consolidation of efforts to mobilize a strong ethical force composed of medical staff,healthcare administrators,and scholars in ethics.By working together and coordinating efforts,we can overcome the previous situation where only medical ethics teachers were fighting alone.The formation of a united and revitalized medical ethics team will undoubtedly change the spiritual outlook of China's healthcare workforce and promote the prosperity of the country's medical and health service.
