加快推进教育强国建设,跻身世界重要教育中心,是中国教育走进世界舞台中央、提升全球影响力、增强国际竞争力的必然之举和未来趋势。近代以来,意大利、英国、法国、德国、美国曾先后成为世界教育中心。世界教育中心的基本特征主要体现在教育思想理论引领力、教育体制机制革新力、教育生态系统承载力、教育质量效能辐射力、教育对外开放影响力等5个方面。在教育强国建设进程中,为建成21世纪世界重要教育中心,中国教育应积极抢抓战略机遇,乘势而上、主动作为,致力于构建具有中国精神、中国特色的现代教育理论体系;深化教育领域综合改革,推进教育治理能力现代化;加快教育规模扩容增位,优化教育结构与资源布局;持续强化教育质量效益,高水平服务民族复兴伟业;全面扩大教育对外开放,提升中国教育国际影响力。

Accelerating the construction of an education-based powerful country and becoming the world’s important education center is an inevitable move and future trend for China’s education to move to the center of the world stage,which will enhance its global influence and its international competitiveness.Since early modern times,Italy,Britain,France,Germany and the United States have successively become the world’s education centers.The basic characteristics of the world’s education center find expression mainly in the theoretical guidance of its educational thought,the innovative power of its educational system,the carrying capacity of its educational ecosystem,the neighborhood influence of its educational quality and efficiency,and its international education level.In the process of building China into an education-based powerful country and an important education center of the world in the 21st century,China should have the following five education focuses:Firstly,it is necessary to actively seize the strategic opportunity,take advantage of the situation and take the initiative in making proper decisions,construct a modern educational theory with Chinese characteristics and spirit.Secondly,it is necessary to deepen the comprehensive reform of education,and promote the modernization of educational governance capacity.Thirdly,it is necessary to accelerate the expansion of the education scale,and optimize the educational structure and resource distribution.Fourthly,it is necessary to continue to strengthen the quality and efficiency of education and serve the great cause of our national rejuvenation at a high level.Fifthly,it is necessary to make our education comprehensively open up to the outside world and enhance its international influence.
