Under the background of teacher education certification,the reform of college English teaching is imperative.In response to the current problems in teaching,we should clarify teaching objectives to enable students to become disseminators of the Chinese voice,optimize teaching contents to cultivate students’lifelong learning ability,enrich teaching methods to stimulate students’motivation for autonomous learning,and optimize teaching evaluation to improve the quality of talent cultivation.Through the reform,college English teachers are encouraged to continuously update their teaching concepts and enhance their teaching skills to meet the needs of the new era of educational development and improve the quality of college English teaching.
