Objective To analyze the characteristics of intestinal flora in patients with preeclampsia. Methods From July 2020 to July 2022,the stool samples of 42 patients with preeclampsia(PE group)and 20 normal pregnant women(NP group)who were treated or hospitalized in the First Affiliated Hospital of Nanchang University were collected. The intestinal flora of the two groups were detected by 16Sr RNA gene sequencing technology, and the characteristics of intestinal flora were analyzed. Results Compared with NP group, theαdiversity andβdiversity of intestinal microbes in PE group were decreased(P<0.01).At the phylum level, the fecal microbiota in both groups was mainly composed of Bacteroidetes,Firmicutes,Proteobacteria,Actinobacteria, and Desulfobacterota.Bacteroidetes,Firmicutes, and Proteobacteria were dominant in the intestinal microbial community. At the genus level,Bacteroides,Prevotella, and Faecalibacterium were the dominant genera. Conclusion The diversity and richness of intestinal flora in PE patients is lower than that in normal pregnant women, and there are differences in microflora structure between PE patients and normal pregnant women.
