论恽代英的君子人格

On Yun Daiying’s Gentleman Personality

作为中国共产党的早期领导人,恽代英受到儒家思想的影响,形成了君子人格。他自幼便以儒学君子自许,少年时代就仿效曾子“三省吾身”之法,以“自省”力持克己,成就外在高尚品行;他一生秉持鲜明的助人思想,希望通过利益他人实现儒学“己欲立而立人,己欲达而达人”的君子人格;他身处民国时期的乱世之中,很自然地将改造社会、拯救国家视为自己人生的责任,从创立“互助社”“仁社”到开办“利群书社”,再到加入中国共产党并最终为共产主义事业而牺牲,恽代英的一生都在以实际行动践履“天下兴亡,匹夫有责”的君子理想。

As an early leader of the CPC,Yun Daiying was influenced by Confucianism and formed a gentleman personality.He had always regarded himself as a Confucian gentleman since childhood,and in his youth,he imitated Zengzi’s method of“reflecting on oneself three times a day”,using“self-reflection”to restrain himself and achieve noble external conduct;he upheld a clear belief in helping others throughout his life,hoping to achieve the Confucian gentleman personality of“achieving oneself through benefiting others”;living in the troubled times during the period of the Republic of China,he naturally regarded transforming society and saving the country as his responsibility in life,from the establishment of“mutual aid society”,“benevolence society”and“Liqun Shushe”,to joining the CPC and ultimately sacrificing for the cause of communism,Yun Daiying practised the gentleman’s ideal of“All citizens share a responsibility for the fate of their country.”with practical actions throughout his life.
