Objective This study retrospectively reviews the clinical efficacy of minimally invasive surgery in the treatment of thyroid nodules. Methods The study subjects were extracted from May 2022 to May 2024,with a total of 62 patients in our hospital who underwent surgical treatment for thyroid nodules. They were divided into two groups using the""tossing a coin"method:control group(31 cases, traditional surgical treatment)and experimental group(31 cases, minimally invasive surgical treatment). The study focused on comparing the clinical efficacy, various clinical indicators, and incidence of complications between the two groups. Results Compared to the control group, the overall clinical effective rate in the experimental group was relatively higher(P<0.05);after treatment by different methods, patients in the experimental group had significantly shorter operation and hospitalization times, less blood loss, and shorter incision length, with all indicators superior to the control group(P<0.05);after treatment, the incidence of complications in the experimental group was significantly lower than that in the control group, with no significant statistical difference(P<0.05).Conclusion Minimally invasive surgery for thyroid nodules has significant advantages in clinical application, achieving good treatment effects and reducing the incidence of postoperative complications. It is worth actively promoting and applying in clinical practice.
