摘要
临床微生物检验作为检验医学重要组成部分,侧重于培养学生的实践技能。然而,传统教学方法虽有所改进,但由于课堂时间和个体指导的限制,学生的实操机会和对操作要点的理解仍显不足。本文探讨了Peyton四步教学法在临床微生物检验实践教学中的应用。该方法包括示范操作、讲解操作、指导操作和独立操作四个步骤,逐步引导学生掌握操作技能和专业理论。教师首先通过完整演示操作过程,让学生观察学习;接着详细讲解每一步骤的理论背景和实施要点;然后在教师指导下学生进行操作,及时纠正错误,确保准确掌握操作步骤;最后学生独立完成操作,教师评估掌握情况并提供反馈。这种分阶段、渐进式的教学方法不仅显著提升了学生的操作技能,还加深了其对理论知识的理解。在实践中应用Peyton四步教学法可增强临床微生物检验实践教学的效果,也为检验医学教学改革与创新提供新思路和新模式。
Clinical microbiological testing is a crucial component of laboratory medicine,emphasizing the cultivation of practical skills among students.However,despite promising improvements in traditional teaching methods,it was suggested that students still lack sufficient hands-on practice and understanding of key operational points due to limited classroom time and individualized guidance.This paper explores application of the Peyton’s four-step approach in practical clinical microbiological testing education program.This method comprises four stages,including:demonstration,explanation,guided practice,and independent practice,which can progressively guide students to master operational skills and professional theory.Initially,teachers demonstrate the entire operational process for students to observe and learn.Subsequently,they provide detailed explanations of the theoretical background and implementation essentials for each step.Students then have opportunities to perform operations under teacher guidance,promptly correcting errors to ensure accurate mastery of operational procedures.Finally,students can independently complete operations,with teachers evaluating their proficiency and providing constructive feedback.This phased and progressive teaching approach not only significantly enhances students’operational skillset,but also deepens their understanding of theoretical knowledge.Implementing the Peyton’s four-step approach in practice can enhance the effectiveness of practical clinical microbiological testing education program and provides innovative insights and models for laboratory medicine education reform.
