摘要
王舟瑶追寻传统士人“学而优则仕”的传统,但能敏锐觉察晚清学术发展潮流,确立“从经中求道”的学术旨趣。他紧跟时代发展变化,认同并践行近代教育理念,成功实现从传统士人到近代学人的转变。学术旨趣、教育实践、存续文脉是促使其转变的驱动力。
Wang Zhouyao pursued the tradition of scholar-officials,but he could keenly perceive the academic development trend of the late Qing Dynasty and establish the academic purport of"seek⁃ing Tao from classics".He followed the development of the times,agreed with and practiced the mod⁃ern educational idea,and successfully realized the transformation from a traditional scholar to a modern scholar.Academic interest,educational practice and continuation of context are the driving forces to promote his transformation.
