“大思政”背景下,高校英语教育要求教师在教授英语的同时,将思政教育融入英语教学中,开展英语教学课程思政,以促进学生在语言能力、文化意识和价值观形成等方面的全面发展。通过高校英语教学与思政教育的有机融合,帮助学生用批判性思维学习西方文化,使学生在面对不同价值观念和文化信息的输入时,能够辨明是非、站稳立场,践行社会主义核心价值观。

Under the background of“ideological and political education”,English education in universities requires teachers to integrate ideological and political education into English teachingwhile teaching English,and carry out ideological and political education in English teaching courses to promote students’comprehensive development in language ability,cultural awareness,and value formation.Through the organic integration of college English teaching and ideological and political education,we aim to help students learnWestern culture with critical thinking,enabling them to distinguish right from wrong,stand firm,and practice socialist core values when faced with different values and cultural information inputs.
