The impact of the current rapid growth in production capacity of the domestic glass fiber industry and the development of the glass fiber industry in western industrialized countries were analyzed,thus corresponding inspirations were provided.The important role of glass fiber in the development of strategic emerging industries in China was explained,which gives guidance for the development of the industry.It is clarified that in the historical process of the country vigorously developing new productive forces and actively deploying strategic emerging industries,the glass fiber industry should continue to increase technological innovation and product quality and decrease cost,pay attention to R&D and application innovation,and find new demand growth points.
