The study aims to understand the genetic characteristics of Bellamya purificata populations in China. In this paper, six populations of B.purificata were selected from Wuhu of Anhui(ASY),Huai'an of Jiangsu(CX),Nanhai of Guangxi(GZT),Jiangyin of Jiangsu(JY),Changzhou of Jiangsu(RS)and Liuzhou of Guangxi(ZZR),and their genetic diversity, population structure and selection signals were compared. The results showed that the genetic diversity of these six populations was high, and the single nucleotide polymorphism(π)was 0.005976-0.007760.Among them, the genetic diversity of GZT population and ASY population was relatively higher, while the genetic diversity of ZZR population was lower. There was a large separation between RS population and GZT population, and the separation between ZZR population and ASY population was small. The separation between the remaining populations was not obvious. It shows that although the population of B.purificata is widely distributed, the genetic differentiation between different geographical populations is not large.
