摘要
石英砂是高温工业中重要的耐火材料原料,但天然石英砂纯度不高,表面活性低,限制了其应用。本文重点探讨了物理改性、化学改性和复合改性的机理及效果。研究表明,机械活化-酸洗复合改性可使石英砂比表面积提高83.8%,碱熔-硅烷偶联剂复合改性使SiO_(2)含量达99.9%,采用改性石英砂制备的莫来石基复合材料,其抗弯强度、荷软温度和热震稳定性均得到大幅提升。改性处理是提高石英砂品质,开发高性能耐火材料的有效途径。
Quartz sand is an important refractory raw material in high temperature industry,but the purity of natural quartz sand is not high and the surface activity is low,which limits its application.This paper focuses on the mechanism and effect of physical,chemical and compound modification.The study shows that the mechanical activation-pickling compound modification can improve the specific surface area of quartz sand by 83.8%,and the SiO_(2)content of alkali melting-silane coupling agent reaches 99.9%.The bending strength,soft temperature and thermal shock stability of the composite material prepared by modified quartz sand are greatly improved.Modified treatment is an effective way to improve the quality of quartz sand and develop high-performance refractory materials.
