Objective To investigate the clinical efficacy of acupoint application combined with three-step pain relief method in the treatment of primary liver cancer pain. Methods A retrospective analysis was conducted on the clinical data of 150 patients with primary liver cancer admitted to the Dazu Hospital Affiliated to Chongqing Medical University from April 2017 to December2019.The patients were divided into group A and group B according to different treatment plans, with 75 cases in each group. The patients in group A were treated with three-step pain relief method, while the patients in group B were treated with acupoint application combined with three-step pain relief method. Results The Visual Analog Scale(VAS) scores in group B at 3,5,and7 d after treatment were(1.35 ± 1.85) points,(1.67 ± 1.65) points,(1.09 ± 0.55) points, which were significantly lower than(2.51 ± 3.88) points,(3.04 ± 2.89) points,(2.57 ± 1.08) points in group A(P < 0.05).The total effective rate of pain relief in group B was 93.33%,which was significantly higher than 86.67% in group A(P < 0.05).Conclusion Acupoint application combined with three-step pain relief method has good clinical efficacy in the treatment of primary liver cancer pain and can alleviate the pain of patients.
