摘要
“千花”是15-16世纪欧洲一种装饰风格,由密集的花朵、植物和小动物组成的图案样式,多见于哥特式挂毯。本文从千花样式挂毯的演变和发展入手,研究千花挂毯的图像特征以及生产织作工艺。千花挂毯是研究中世纪晚期挂毯的珍贵资料,通过图像研究不仅可以察观到千花挂毯无规则、平面化、均衡的秩序美,又可见典型的哥特艺术风格和具有宗教象征的动植物图像。千花挂毯曾在中世纪工艺美术史中大放异彩,功能上柔化中世纪冰冷的石质建筑空间,为现代装饰设计和织物设计提供素材和范本。
“Millefleurs”is a European decorative style from the 15th and 16th centuries,characterized by dense patterns of flowers,plants,and small animals,predominantly found in Gothic tapestries.This paper examines the evolution and development of Millefleurs tapestries,focusing on their iconographic characteristics and the crafts involved in their production and weaving.Millefleurs tapestries provide valuable material for studying late medieval tapestries.Through iconographic analysis,one can observe not only the irregular,flat yet balanced aesthetic of these tapestries but also explore the quintessential Gothic art style and the religious symbolism embedded in the images of animals and plants.The Millefleurs tapestry played a prominent role in the history of medieval arts and crafts,softening the cold,stone architecture of the Middle Ages and offering inspiration and models for modern decorative and fabric design.
