The Absence and Return of the Body:A Study on the Embodied Inheritance and Communication of Intangible Cultural Heritage in the Age of Smart Media

“非遗”文化作为与身体紧密联系的事象,历来依赖于肉身而被习得、传承和传播。大众传播的盛行使“非遗”文化的传承与传播逐渐显现“去身体化”倾向,从而导致身体的缺席。智媒时代技术的崛起则通过颠覆身体在“非遗”文化实践中的传统在场方式,实现了身体的回归。这些技术不仅改变了人类对身体的认知,重新塑造了身体的形态,更创造了一个虚拟的栖居环境,构建了一种新型的具身观。

Intangible cultural heritage,as an object closely related to the body,has always relied on the physical body to be acquired,inherited,and communicated.The prevalence of mass communication has gradually led to a trend of“disembodiment”in the inheritance and communication of intangible cultural heritage,resulting in the absence of the body.The rise of advanced technology in the era of smart media has achieved the return of the body by subverting the traditional way of being present in intangible cultural heritage practices.These advanced technologies have not only changed human cognition of the body and reshaped its form,but also created a virtual living environment and constructed a new type of embodiment perspective.
