数字经济对创新活动的影响研究

Research on the Influence of the Digital Economy on Innovation Activities

通过构建数字经济与创新水平间的逻辑框架,从理论层面诠释了数字经济对创新水平的影响效应和渠道效应,通过对中国278个城市的创新水平、数字经济水平及相关经济数据的研究,证实了理论分析的结果。研究发现,数字经济发展会对创新水平产生正向影响,但数字经济与创新水平之间呈现倒U形特征,数字经济通过提升创业活跃度等渠道影响创新水平。异质性分析表明,数字经济对创新水平的影响存在区域性差异,在东部地区的城市样本中更为明显。进一步对数字经济驱动的创新模式进行了研究,发现整体上数字经济会促进策略性创新水平的提升,而非实质性创新水平提升,特别是在数字经济发展水平相对落后的中西部地区,策略创新而非实质创新是企业创新活动的主流。而数字经济成功驱动实质创新的地区是东部地区,具备规模经济和范围经济的头部企业通常分布在这里。

This paper constructs a logical framework between the digital economy and the level of innovation,and explains the influence effect and channel effect of digital economy on innovation level from the theoretical level.By analyzing the innovation level,digital economy level,and related economic data of 278 cities in China,it confirms the results of the theoretical analysis.The study finds that the development of the digital economy has a positive impact on the level of innovation.However,there is an inverted U-shaped featurebetween the digital economy and the level of innovation,anddigital economy affects the level of innovation through channels such as enhancing entrepreneurial activity.The heterogeneity analysis shows that there are regional differences in the impact of digital economy on the level of innovation,which is more obvious in the samples of cities in the eastern region.Furthermore,this paper studies the innovation model driven by digital economy,and find that digital economy will promote the improvement of strategic innovation level,but not substantive innovation level.Especially in the central and western regions where the development level of digital economy is relatively backward,strategic innovation rather than substantive innovation is the mainstream of enterprise innovation activities.On the other hand,the regions where the digital economy successfully drives substantive innovation are mainly located in the eastem region,whereleading enterprises with economies of scale and scope are usually distributed.
