The University Institutional Change from the Perspective of Power Theory

权力是大学制度变迁研究的核心概念。在中国式现代化道路视野下的大学制度建设过程中,权力规范机制研究发挥着重要作用。综合费孝通、杨继绳、韦伯和加尔布雷思等学者的观点,可以获得一个关于权力研究的综合理论框架。以此为基础,围绕权力配置,分析大学制度中的“家族相似”,主要包括两个方面:规范化的行政权力、专业化的学术权威。支配同盟是大学制度变迁的重要推动力量,就中国式现代化的内在要求而言,中国特色现代大学制度建设需要建立在大学场域的支配同盟基础之上,同界支配同盟和跨界支配同盟的建立遵循着不同的逻辑,在大学制度变迁中两者均发挥着重要作用。

Power is the core concept in the study of university institutional change.In the process of univer⁃sity institution construction under the vision of Chinese modernization road,the study of power regulation mech⁃anism plays an important role.Based on the views of Fei Xiaotong,Yang Jisheng,Max Weber and John K.Gal⁃braith,a comprehensive theoretical framework for the study of power is proposed.Based on this framework,this paper analyzes the“family resemblance”in the university institution around the configuration of power,which mainly includes two aspects:standardized administrative power and professional academic authority.Domina⁃tion alliance is an important driving force of university institutional change.In terms of the inherent require⁃ments of Chinese modernization,the construction of modern university institution with Chinese characteristics needs to be built on the basis of domination alliance in university field.The establishment of same boundary domination alliance and cross boundary domination alliance should follow different logics,and both play an im⁃portant role in university institutional change.
