The Exercise of Authentic Knowledge and the Way of Life:Anne Cheng’s view on the Communication between Confucianism and Taoism

程艾蓝是当代法国汉学界研究中国思想史的重要代表人物之一。本文认为,法国当代汉学家程艾蓝重构了中国古代思想史中的概念,比如将“道”看作统领性的概念,在差异性的比较分析中,呈现出儒道思想之间的互通性。程艾蓝在体现“儒家人文主义”的整体视野中,在阐释《庄子》的“道”时,融入儒学的理性成分,采取以儒释“庄”的路径展开。程艾蓝在对魏晋玄学和宋明理学的探讨中,亦涉及到对《庄子》的自然之“道”的回应,继续在儒道互通视角下呈现出不同程度的“体”“用”统合互补的关系,并予以说明。她运用比较哲学的方法,揭示在“道”的视域中的特殊“真理”形式。

Anne Cheng is one of the most significant figures in contemporary French Sinology.This article proposes that Anne Cheng develops her distinctive perspective through her research on the history of ancient Chinese thought,with a focus on the concept of"Tao"and the interconnectivity between Confucianism and Taoism in the comparative analysis of differences.In interpreting the"Tao"of Zhuangzi,Anne Cheng presents a vision of Confucian humanism that integrates the rational component of Confucianism and follows the path of"Zhuang".In her study of Wei-Jin metaphysics and the"Neo Confucianism"of the Song Dynasty,Anne Cheng also considers her responses to Zhuangzi's theory of"Tao"and the perspectives of different degrees of"foundation"(ti),"application"(yong),integration and complementary relationship.She introduces some methods of comparative philosophy to reveal the"Tao"in the special form of"truth".
