摘要 Fishbones are relatively common foreign bodies found in the throat, with the tonsils and tongue base being frequent locations for them to lodge. However, foreign bodies within the tongue are clinically infrequent, and their displacement is intricately linked to the shape of the object, duration of lodgement, and the fiber orientation during tongue muscle movement. This article reports a case of a foreign body lodged in the tongue, treated at Xianning Central Hospital in April 2024.
