Digital Economy Innovation,Industrial Structure Optimization and Common Prosperity

在中国式现代化背景下,数字经济创新是推动共同富裕的新契机和新动能。文章基于2013—2022年我国287个地级及以上城市的面板数据,实证考察了数字经济创新、产业结构优化与共同富裕之间的逻辑关系。结果表明:数字经济创新可以显著提升共同富裕水平,经稳健性检验后该结论仍成立。数字经济创新对“头部省份”、知识产权保护较强城市、大城市共同富裕的积极影响更强。机制分析结果显示,数字经济创新可通过产业结构优化赋能共同富裕。门槛效应与空间效应检验结果表明,数字经济创新对共同富裕的赋能效应存在边际递增特征,且存在空间溢出效应。

In the context of Chinese-style modernization,digital economy innovation is a new opportunity and new driving force to promote common prosperity.Based on the panel data of 287 cities at prefecture level and above in China from 2013 to 2022,this paper empirically examines the logical relationship between digital economy innovation,industrial structure optimization and common prosperity.The results show that digital economy innovation can significantly improve the level of common prosperity,and this conclusion is still valid after the robustness test.Digital economy innovation has a stronger positive impact on the common prosperity in“head provinces”,cities with strong intellectual property protection,and big cities.Mechanism analysis results show that digital economy innovation can empower common prosperity through industrial structure optimization.The results of threshold effect and spatial effect test show that the enabling effect of digital economy innovation on common prosperity has marginal increasing characteristic and spatial spillover effect.
