Colors,as a fundamental element of visual arts,carries rich cultural connotations and emotional expressions in different cultures,while translation is a cross-linguistic and cross-cultural communication activity.This requires the integration and reasonable transformation of culture,language,and translation,with each serving as a premise for the other.By analyzing the characteristics of color words’translation under cross-cultural contexts,This paper combines the symbolic meanings of colors in Chinese cultures and Western cultures,and applies effective translation strategies and methods to provide reference and assistance for learners.
