Introduction of ZHANG Meifang's Experience in Treating Dry Eyes Based on Spleen-Regulating Method

介绍张梅芳教授运用调脾法治疗干眼的临床经验。张梅芳教授认为,干眼病位在眼,与脾密切相关,临证分为脾气虚弱型、脾虚夹湿热型、脾肾亏虚型,治法有健脾益气、健脾清热利湿、健脾益肾。健脾益气多以四君子汤加减,辨证加用密蒙花、枸杞子等明目之品;健脾清热利湿多以三仁汤为基础加减,辨证加用夏枯草、密蒙花等明目之品;健脾益肾则先健脾运而后用自制的益眼明方剂进行加味治疗。

This article introduces Professor ZHANG Meifang's clinical experience in treating dry eyes with the spleen-regulating method.Professor ZHANG Meifang believes that the disease location of dry eyes lies in the eyes and is closely related to the spleen.Clinically,the disease can be divided into three types,namely the spleen qi deficiency type,the spleen deficiency with damp-heat type,and the spleenkidney depletion type;the treatment methods include strengthening the spleen and boosting qi,fortifying the spleen,clearing heat and draining dampness,and supplementing the spleen and kidney.To strengthen the spleen and boost qi,it is recommended to use modified Sijunzi Decoction with the additional application of eye-improving Chinese medicinals such as Buddlejae Flos and Lycii Fructus based on syndrome differentiation;to fortify the spleen,clear heat and drain dampness,modified Sanren Decoction is often used as the basic formula with the additional application of eye-improving Chinese medicinals such as Prunellae Spica and Buddlejae Flos based on syndrome differentiation;to supplement the spleen and kidney,the first step is to fortify the spleen and then use modified self-made Yiyanming Prescription.
