Empowering Common Prosperity with Artificial Intelligence Technology:Theoretical Logic and Empirical Evidence

作为中国特色社会主义的本质要求,共同富裕的实现离不开技术进步的广泛参与。围绕“富裕”与“共享”双重视角定量考察人工智能技术如何影响共同富裕。研究表明,人工智能技术在提升农村居民收入过程中能够同步降低城乡收入差距,且该结论在多重稳健性检验后依旧成立;传导路径检验发现,人工智能技术主要通过创业活跃度提升和产业结构优化带动共同富裕;进一步研究显示,人工智能技术对共同富裕的作用效果依赖于城市地理区位、发展阶段、人力资本水平,其中东部城市、服务型城市及高人力资本城市人工智能技术的作用效果更为显著;智能化政策的实施有助于人工智能技术共同富裕效应的发挥。研究结论在弥补智能偏向性技术理论依据基础上,为如何通过人工智能技术助力共同富裕提供了经验支撑。

As an essential requirement of socialism with Chinese characteristics,the realization of common prosperity cannot be achieved without the widespread participation of technological progress.This article quantita⁃tively examines how artificial intelligence technology affects common prosperity from the dual perspectives of“prosperity”and“sharing”.Research has shown that artificial intelligence technology can simultaneously reduce the urban-rural income gap while improving the income of rural residents,and this conclusion still holds after multiple robustness tests;The transmission path test found that artificial intelligence technology mainly drives urban common prosperity through increasing entrepreneurial activity and optimizing industrial structure;Further research shows that the effect of artificial intelligence on common prosperity depends on urban geographical location,development stage,and human capital level.Among them,the effect of artificial intelligence is more significant in eastern cities,service-oriented cities,and high human capital cities;The implementation of intelligent policies contributes to the realization of the common prosperity effect of artificial intelligence.On the basis of compen⁃sating for the theoretical basis of intelligent biased technology,this article provides empirical support for how to use intelligent technology to assist common prosperity.
