Objective:To discuss the influence of external application of self-made prescription on rash resolution time and rehabilitation process in children with abdominal allergic purpura. Methods:Seventy children were separated into the treatment group and the control group with 35 cases in each. The control group adopted conventional intervention measures of Western medicine, and the treatment group accepted self-made prescription for external application and conventional intervention measures of Western medicine. To compare the resolution time of rash, abdominal pain, purpura, hematuresis and hemafecia,as well as intestinal wall thickness between the two groups after two weeks of the treatment, and to compare curative effects between both groups. Results:The treatment group was shorter than the control group in the resolution time of rash, abdominal pain, purpura, hematuresis and hemafecia(P<0.01);intestinal wall thickness thinned in the children of the two groups, the treatment group was thinner than the control group(P<0.01);total effective rate of the treatment group was 91.43%(32/35),higher than 68.57%(24/35)of the control group(P<0.05).Conclusion:Based on conventional intervention measures of Western medicine, external application of self-made prescription could promote the rash resolution in children with abdominal allergic purpura, relieve the swelling of intestinal wall and raise clinical effects.
