摘要
在新一轮科技革命和产业变革加速演进的背景下,技术融合驱动产业融合会引发产业功能、形态和组织方式等重大变革,对培育新质生产力具有重要意义。本文从技术融合视角出发,利用逐点互信息(PMI)、归一化互信息(NMI)和归一化逐点互信息(NPMI)等指数构建产业融合指数,并运用社会网络分析和文本挖掘方法测算产业融合程度。本文依次探讨了微观层面的产业内融合状况和宏观层面的产业间融合状况。进一步地,本文以2000—2016年生物产业与医疗医药产业的融合为实例进行分析,研究发现:中国生物产业与医疗医药产业的融合程度较高,呈现演进融合的动态趋势。随着自然科学算法与人工智能技术的持续发展,未来产业融合的测算方法拥有广阔的技术创新空间,这将为新质生产力的量化分析和蓄势赋能提供重要的方法支撑。
Based on the patent database,this paper uses point‑by‑point mutual information(PMI),normalized point‑by‑point mutual information(NPMI),Normalized Mutual Information(NMI),and other indexes to construct multi‑dimensional industry convergence indicators from the perspective of technology convergence,and combines social network analysis and text mining methods to quantitatively measure the within‑industry convergence at the micro level and the between‑industry convergence at the macro level.In the case study,this paper takes the convergence of the biological industry and medical industry from 2000 to 2016 as the research object for quantitative analysis.It is found that China’s bio‑pharmaceutical industry has played a leading role in the convergence of the biological industry and medical industry,while the biomedical engineering industry still has certain development potential in the future despite its small scale.Further research shows that the biological industry and the medical industry have a high degree of convergence,and the NPMI convergence index of the industry pair reached 0.86 during the sample period,following a dynamic pattern of evolutionary convergence.Compared with existing literature,the marginal contributions of this paper are as follows:Firstly,based on the comparison of three industry convergence measurements,namely,technology convergence,product convergence,and market convergence,this paper focuses on explaining the theoretical basis of industry convergence measurement from the perspective of technology convergence and provides a theoretical basis for industry convergence measurement under the guidance of new quality productive forces.Secondly,from the static and dynamic perspectives,this paper constructs a multi‑level research framework of industry convergence at the micro and macro levels,extending views and study methods of relative research.Thirdly,based on the current situation of industry convergence measurement methods,and combined with summarizing the evolution of natural science algorithms and the development of artificial intelligence technology,this paper puts forward the prospect of quantitative research on industry convergence.This paper reveals the internal logic and evolution direction of industry convergence measurement from the perspective of technology convergence,which can not only provide important methodological support for the quantitative analysis and momentum accumulation of China’s new quality productive forces but also help to broaden the research horizon for the future development of industry convergence measurement in the digital economy era.
