1 In downtown Ningbo,a historic city of learning and culture in East Chinas Zhejiang Province,there lies a library that has survived for more than 450 years,making it the oldest library not only in China but in Asia.It houses nearly 300,000 ancient books.It is one of the worlds three oldest libraries,besides Italys Malatesta Novello Library and Biblioteca Medicea Laurenziana.
