A Quantitative Analysis of the Supply and Demand Relationship for Employment Positions of College Graduates in China(2000—2023)

2000—2023年我国普通高校毕业生就业供需关系现状:供需总量均在增长,但就业岗位需求增量、增幅更大;产业持续转型升级,就业岗位供给结构变化复杂,人才培养同频调整难度加大;就业岗位供需质量均在提升,供需失衡的表象在需求,原因在供给。基于供需关系现实,各方相向努力,加强“两育交融”和“四业融通”,调适师生预期,盘活岗位存量,优化校招绩效,促进高校毕业生就业工作高质量发展。

The status quo of the supply and demand relationship for employment positions of college graduates in China from 2000 to 2023 are as follows.Both the total supply and demand for college graduates have been increasing,yet the demand for employment positions has grown more rapidly.With the ongoing industrial transformation and upgrading,the structure of job supply has become increasingly complex,posing greater challenges for aligning talent cultivation with industry needs.While the quality of supply and demand has improved,the imbalance between the two is more evident on the demand side,though the root cause lies in the supply.In light of the current supplydemand dynamics,efforts should be directed towards aligning the expectations of all parties involved,enhancing the integration of professional education and employment education(‘dual education integration’),improving seamless convergence of education,industry,trade,and occupation(‘fourfold integration’),adjusting the expectations of teachers and students,revitalizing the stock of available positions,optimizing university recruitment performance,and fostering the high-quality development of graduate employment.
