The French poet Judith Gautier's masterpiece Le Livre de Jade has three lives it is firstly originated from Chinese classical poetry;secondly,as a French poetry collection,Le Livre de Jade has features of 19th-century romantic literature;thirdly,in the early 20th century,Le Livre de Jade inspired the Imagist Movement led by Ezra Pound in terms of imagery, free verse style and prosody, integrating its own life into the innovation of the modern American poetry.Le Livre de Jade, which combines these three lives, has promoted the spread of ancient Chinese poetry in the West in a subtle way, fully integrating into world literature, and ultimately contributing to the renewal of the world's literature.
