摘要
本研究以275名初中英语学习者为被试,通过问卷调查,探究了情绪智力、学业情绪以及二语交际意愿之间的关系,重点关注外语愉悦和外语焦虑的中介作用。结果显示:1)情绪智力正向预测外语愉悦和二语交际意愿,负向预测外语焦虑;2)外语愉悦在情绪智力与二语交际意愿之间起部分中介作用,外语焦虑不起中介作用。研究结果对提升二语交际意愿具有重要理论及实践启示。
The study explored the relationship among emotional intelligence,academic emotions and L2 willingness to communicate(WTC)through a questionnaire survey to 275 junior high school EFL learners,with a focus on the mediating effects of foreign language enjoyment and foreign language anxiety.The results revealed that(1)emotional intelligence positively predicted foreign language enjoyment and L2 WTC,and negatively predicted foreign language anxiety;and(2)foreign language enjoyment played a partially mediating role in the effect of emotional intelligence on L2 WTC,while foreign language anxiety did not play such a role.The findings can provide important theoretical and practical implications for enhancing L2 WTC.
