互联网对海洋经济高质量发展的影响研究

The impact study of the Internet on the high-quality development of the marine economy

本文基于2009—2019年我国沿海11个省市(除港澳台地区)的面板数据构建海洋经济高质量发展指数,并进一步运用双向固定效应模型、工具变量法和中介效应模型研究互联网对海洋经济高质量发展的影响效应及作用机制。时空特征分析表明,2009—2019年我国沿海11个省市的海洋经济高质量发展水平总体呈下降趋势。基准回归结果表明,互联网对海洋经济高质量发展具有明显的推动作用。异质性分析表明,互联网对长江以南沿海地区的海洋经济高质量发展具有积极的正向效应,而对长江以北地区并不具有显著影响。中介分析表明,互联网能够通过吸引海洋科技人才集聚有效赋能海洋经济高质量发展。本文深化了数字时代背景下对互联网与海洋经济高质量发展之间关系的理解,为发挥互联网技术优势和建设海洋强国提供了重要参考。

Based on panel data from 2009 to 2019 of 11 coastal provinces and cities in China(excluding Hong Kong,Macao and Taiwan),this study constructs an index for the high-quality development of the marine economy and further employs a two-way fixed effects model,instrumental variable method,and mediation effect model to investigate the impact and mechanism of the Internet on the high-quality development of the marine economy.Spatiotemporal analysis shows that the level of high-quality development of the marine economy in the 11 coastal provinces and cities of China generally shows a downward trend from 2009 to 2019.The baseline regression results indicate that the Internet has a significant driving effect on the high-quality development of the marine economy.Heterogeneity analysis shows that the Internet has a positive effect on the high-quality development of the marine economy in the coastal areas south of the Yangtze River,but does not have a significant impact on the areas north of the Yangtze River.Mediation analysis indicates that the Internet can effectively empower the high-quality development of the marine economy by attracting marine science and technology talents.This study deepens the understanding of the relationship between the Internet and the high-quality development of the marine economy in the digital age,providing important references for leveraging the advantages of Internet technology and building a marine power.
