Big data technology has great development potential and application value in the military field,and has become a key support for future operations of the U.S.army.This paper summarizes the latest progress of big data in the US army from the aspects of development history,key technologies and supporting environment,and puts forward the trend of big data technology in the US army from the dimensions of physical domain,information domain,cognitive domain and social domain,and puts forward specific enlightenment and reflection based on the situation of our army.
