Zixi county in Jiangxi province actively implements the initiative of“bamboo as a substitute for plastic”,practices the concept of“lucid waters and lush mountains are invaluable assets”,and constructs a complete industrial chain of moso bamboo from downhill to initial processing and then to deep processing.It effectively promotes the high-quality transformation of the ecological product value of“bamboo as a substitute for plastic”and effectively transforms ecological wealth into economic wealth.This paper summarizes the successful experience of bamboo industry development in the integration of primary,secondary,and tertiary industries,technological innovation,policy guidance,and market promotion in Zixi county.It reveals the important role of“bamboo as a substitute for plastic”in promoting ecological civilization construction and achieving green transformation,providing replicable and promotable“Zixi experience”and“Zixi model”for high-quality development of bamboo industry.
