跨文化视域下商务英语翻译策略研究

A Study on Business English Translation Strategies from a Cross-Cultural Perspective

在全球商务不断增长的背景下,各国、各地区以及不同文化背景之间的交流与合作已成为商业往来不可或缺的部分。跨文化视角下,商务英语翻译不再是简单的语言转换,更涉及文化、商务礼仪和沟通方式等多层面的复杂挑战,要求从业者不但精通英语语言,更需深刻理解各异的文化背景与价值观,以便更加准确地传达双方的意图,为跨文化背景下的商业交往创造良好条件。文章从跨文化视角出发,分析商务英语翻译的内涵及特点,并结合风俗习惯、思维方式和文化认知等影响商务英语翻译的因素,提出了跨文化视角下商务英语的翻译策略,包括注重直译与意译结合、结合语境对一词多义词汇准确翻译、注重特殊商务英语词汇的翻译等。

In the context of the continuous growth of global business,communication and cooperation between countries,regions,and cultural backgrounds have become an indispensable part of business exchanges.From a cross-cultural perspective,business English translation is no longer just a simple language conversion,but also involves complex challenges at multiple levels such as culture,business etiquette,and communication methods.It not only requires practitioners to be proficient in the English language,but also to have a profound understanding of different cultural backgrounds and values,in order to more accurately convey the intentions of both parties and create favorable conditions for business communication in cross-cultural contexts.Starting from a cross-cultural perspective,this article analyzes the connotation and characteristics of business English translation,and combines factors such as customs,ways of thinking,and cultural cognition that affect business English translation.In terms of emphasizing the combination of literal translation and free translation,accurately translating polysemous words in context,and emphasizing the translation of special business English vocabulary,it proposes translation strategies for business English from a cross-cultural perspective.
