西瓜新品种引进试验

Introduction Test of New Watermelon Cultivars

为筛选出适宜本地种植的优质高产西瓜新品种,提高西瓜生产效益,2023年重庆市万盛乡村产业发展中心引进甜妞、红西砂、丰乐腾龙、中蜜1号4个新品种,与当地种植的佳欣(8424类型,CK)开展比较试验。结果表明,红西砂、丰乐腾龙、中蜜1号这3个品种的中心糖含量、667 m^(2)产量及产值均大于CK,表现较好,可在重庆市万盛经济技术开发区适量推广。甜妞虽667 m^(2)产值高于CK,但中心糖含量低,口感欠佳,不建议推广。

In order to screen out new watermelon cultivars with good quality and high yield suitable for local planting and improve the production efficiency of watermelon,four new cultivars of Tianniu,Hongxisha,Fengletenglong and Zhongmi No.1 were introduced by Chongqing Wansheng Rural Industrial Development Center in 2023,and compared with local planted Jiaxin(8424 type,control).The results showed that the central sugar content,yield per 667 m^(2) and output value of Hongxisha,Fengletenglong and Zhongmi No.1 were higher than those of the control,which showed good performance and could be promoted in Wansheng District of Chongqing.Although the output value per 667 m^(2) of Tianniu was higher than that of the control,its central sugar content was lower and the taste was not good,so it was not recommended for promotion.
