The paper explored the distribution of heavy metals in the soil of the ancient tea garden in Mengku,Yunnan, and their effects on microbial ecology using ICP-AES and sequencing technology for soil bacterial community structure, and revealed the enrichment of heavy metals in the ancient tea garden soil and the significant impact of theses heavy metals on the microbial community structure. The results showed that heavy metal elements such as Cr,Cu,Sn,and Hg were enriched in the tea garden soil, while Mo and Pb were depleted. The enrichment of heavy metal elements not only reduced the biomass and population of microorganisms, but also affected the structure and diversity of the microbial community. The dominant bacteria in the soil, such as Acidobacteria, showed a negative correlation with most heavy metal elements, and had a positive effect on tea trees, such as degrading heavy metal toxicity.
