Xi Jinping’s ecological civilization ideology is an important component of the socialist ideology with Chinese characteristics in the new era.Integrating it into ideological and political education in universities is of great significance for improving students’comprehensive quality,cultivating socialist builders and successors.However,there are still some problems in the current integration process,such as incomplete systematic teaching planning,lack of forward looking teaching content,immature educational implementation mechanisms,and difficulty in translating theory into practice.Therefore,the article aims to explore what measures and methods can be used to improve the current situation and achieve a deep integration of Xi Jinping’s ecological civilization ideology with ideological and political courses in universities.The exploration of this path not only provides profound guidance for the practical application of Xi Jinping’s ecological civilization thought,but also provides solid theoretical support for inheriting and promoting the great cause of the Party.
