Objective To analyze preventive effect of respiratory muscle training combined with highfrequency chest wall oscillation sputum extractor on long-term bedridden hypostatic pneumonia of elderly and its effect on respiratory function. Methods The paper chose 118 elderly patients with long-term bed rest in Respiratory Department of our hospital from June 2021 to July 2023 as research subjects, and divided them into control group and experimental group randomly, with 59 cases in each group.Control group was treated with routine nursing, while experimental group with respiratory muscle training combined with high-frequency chest wall oscillation sputum extractor treatment on the basis of routine nursing.Curative effect between two groups was compared. Results Incidence of hypostatic pneumonia in experimental group was lower than control group, respiratory function was better than control group.Self sputum extracting rate was higher than control group, sputum output was higher than control group, nursing satisfaction degree was higher than control group(P<0.05).Conclusion Respiratory muscle training combined with highfrequency chest wall oscillation sputum extractor can reduce incidence of hypostatic pneumonia, improve respiratory function and autonomous sputum extracting ability, and enhance nursing satisfaction degree of elderly long-term bedridden patients, which can help establish good nurse patient relationship.
