Small and medium-sized cities have an important strategic position in serving the overall development of the Party and the country.Improving the quality of public services in small and medium-sized cities at the present stage is not only an inevi-table requirement for accelerating the formation of new-quality productive forces and realizing high-quality development of the cit-ies,but also an important measure to show the new road of Chinese-style modernization.Reexamining the experience and results achieved in the field of public services in small and medium-sized cities,upgrading the quality of their public services should ad-here to the basic principles of service for the people,justice and dynamism.On this basis,it is clear that the practical path to im-prove the quality of public services in small and medium-sized cities lies in:focusing on serving the people,paying attention to theoretical innovation,and ensuring the accuracy of the direction of services;adhering to justice,strengthening the effectiveness of governance,and promoting the standardization of the fair form;and highlighting the dynamics,targeting the demand for services,and optimizing the systematic evaluation of quality.
