一种基于液态金属微流控的极化可重构天线

摘要 提出了一种基于液态金属(LM)微流控的极化可重构天线。天线由一层FR-4印刷电路板和刻蚀在辐射贴片表面的四个微流通道组成,控制微流通道中的液态金属,可以实现右旋圆极化(RHCP)、左旋圆极化(LHCP)以及线极化(LP)三种极化状态转换。测量结果表明,线极化状态下工作频带内最大增益可达到8.5 dBi,极化转换时增益波动低于2.1 dB。三种极化状态下的重合-10 dB相对阻抗带宽为41.56%(6.9 GHz~10.35 GHz),圆极化状态下3 dB重合轴比带宽为4.7%(8.13 GHz~8.52 GHz)。测量和仿真结果吻合较好,证明了设计方法的有效性。 A microfluidics-control polarization reconfigurable antenna based on liquid metal(LM)is proposed.It consists of a layer of FR-4 printed circuit board(PCB)and four micro-channels etched into the surface of the radiation patch.By controlling the LM in the micro-channels,the antenna can switch in three polarization states,which are right-hand circular polarization(RHCP),left-hand circular polarization(LHCP),and linear polarization(LP).Within the operating bandwidth,the measured maximum gain is 8.5 dBi in the LP state,and the gain fluctuation is less than 2.1 dB during the polarization transition.The overlapping-10 dB impedance bandwidth is 41.56%(6.9 GHz-10.35 GHz)for the three polarization states,and the 3 dB overlapping axial ratio bandwidth(ARBW)is 4.7%(8.13 GHz-8.52 GHz)for the circular polarization state.The simulation results are in good agreement with the measured results,which proves the validity of the design method.
