Progress of echocardiographic evaluation of left atrial structure and function in patients with atrial fibrillation

心房颤动(简称房颤)是医学领域中常见的一种心律失常性疾病,容易引发多种严重并发症。房颤可能导致左心房的结构和功能发生变化。超声心动图在分析房颤患者左心房的构造和功能时有着至关重要的作用。因此,本文总结了近些年来使用各种超声新技术评估房颤患者左心房的形态结构和功能的研究进展。

Atrial fibrillation(AF)is a common cardiac arrhythmia in the medical field,which is prone to many serious complications.Atrial fibrillation may lead to changes in the structure and function of the left atrium.Echocardiography has a crucial role in analysing the structure and function of the left atrium in patients with AF.Therefore,this article summarises the progress of research in recent years using various new ultrasound techniques to assess the morphology structure and function of the left atrium in patients with atrial fibrillation.
