乙型肝炎病毒(HBV)感染诱发是肝脏疾病的主要原因,尤其是肝硬化和肝细胞癌。然而,宿主与HBV之间的相互作用尚未被完全阐明。CMTM2是结构功能特点介于趋化因子和四次跨膜蛋白的新蛋白家族。本研究发现,过表达CMTM2能够抑制HBV DNA复制中间体、3.5kb mRNA、核心蛋白水平,同时抑制HBsAg和HBeAg的分泌。此外,CMTM2通过AP-1抑制其HBV Core启动子活性从而抑制HBV的转录和复制。本研究发现CMTM2可能是一种抑制HBV复制的新型宿主限制因子,这些数据可能有助于开发新的抗病毒策略。
Hepatitis B virus(HBV)infection is the main cause of liver diseases,especially cirrhosis and hepatocellular carcinoma.However,the interaction between the host and HBV has not been fully elucidated.CMTM2 is a novel protein family with structural and functional characteristics that fall between chemokines and four transmembrane proteins.This study found that overexpression of CMTM2 can inhibit HBV DNA replication intermediates,3.5kb mRNA,core protein levels,as well as suppress the secretion of HBsAg and HBeAg.In addition,CMTM2 inhibits HBV transcription and replication by suppressing its HBV Core promoter activity through AP-1.This study found that CMTM2 may be a novel host limiting factor that inhibits HBV replication,and these data may contribute to the development of new antiviral strategies.
