改革开放后,中国共产党慈善观逐步向现代转型。就慈善的内涵而言,逐步把慈善的定义由扶贫济困的“小慈善”发展为扶贫济困的同时还包括社会各领域广泛公益事业的“大慈善”;就慈善主体而言,由只是极少数有钱的好心人,扩大到所有愿意参加志愿服务和公益活动的社会大众;就慈善开展方式而言,由捐款捐物的“送温暖”行为,发展为包括捐款捐物、志愿活动和保护生态环境等社会公益事业;就慈善的功能而言,从是中国社会保障体系和社会治理体系的重要组成部分,到是实现共同富裕的重要途径,党和政府对慈善事业在社会主义建设事业中重要地位的认识逐步提升。中国共产党慈善观的现代转型,为慈善事业参与社会主义建设大业和助力中华民族伟大复兴提供了行动指南。

Since the reform and opening-up,the CPC’s View of Charity has gradually transformed into a modern one.In terms of the connotation of charity,the definition of charity has gradually evolved from“small charity”that helps alleviate poverty to“big charity”that includes a wide range of public welfare undertakings in various fields of society while still addressing poverty;In terms of charitable entities,it has expanded from a very small number of wealthy and kind-hearted individuals to all the general public willing to participate in volunteer services and public welfare activities;In terms of the way charity is carried out,it has evolved from the acts of donating money and materials to including social welfare undertakings such as donating money and materials,volunteer activities,and protecting the ecological environment;In terms of the function of charity,it has evolved from being an important component of China’s social security system and social governance system to being an important way to achieve common prosperity.The Party and the government’s understanding of the important position of charity in socialist construction is gradually increasing.The modern transformation of the CPC’s view of charity provides an action guide for charities to participate in the great cause of socialist construction and help the great rejuvenation of the Chinese nation.
