The next 5 to 10 years represent a critical period for advancing regional coordinated development in China.The primary objectives are to reduce regional disparities and promote shared prosperity.As population concentration intensifies,and migration patterns become increasingly diverse,the challenges of urban-rural and regional imbalances are becoming more complex.To address these issues,it is essential to establish a multi-centered,networked,open,and resource-efficient spatial development framework.This includes optimizing industrial layouts,advancing the industrial upgrading of coastal city clusters and key metropolitan areas,and fostering the integration of innovation and industrial chains.Furthermore,strengthening the development of strategic hinterlands,enhancing regional connectivity,and revitalizing the northeast region should be prioritized.To ensure effective policy implementation,reforms to regional coordination mechanisms,improvements to the fiscal and tax systems,and the establishment of a unified spatial information platform are necessary.
