On behalf of thescientific committeeof theRising Stars in Plant Sciences(RSPS)2024,we are pleased to announce that Dr.Haodong Chen,Dr.Gozde Sultan Demirer,Dr.Xiaofeng Fang,and Dr.Alexander M Jones(in alphabetical order by surname)have been selectedasRSPS2024winners.TheRSPSawardwas initiated in 2022,aiming to recognize outstanding early-career plant scientists and inspire new generations of scientists to devote themselves to cutting-edge and innovative plant science research toward providing sustainable solutions to the grand challenges of feeding the world's population while ensuring environmental sustainability.Thanks to the tremendous support from the plant sciences community,both RSPS2022 and RSPS2023 have successfully recognized a total of nine young plant scientists as the winners.
